About me
Born in Hackney and returned to live here after University at Exeter and a spell of bedsitterdom in Islington. Labour councillor 1978 - 85 and first Chair of Community Development Committee. Varied career culminated in 21 years as policy analyst, adviser, and advocate for one of the local authority Associations.
Community activities in Hackney include school governance at school, borough, and national level. Now Secretary of Millfields Users' Group, Executive Committee Member of Hackney Parks Forum, and member of interim Steering Group of HEN.
